Nuevas imprimaciones y set modulación Vallejo

En la línea de las nuevas imprimaciones con color del fabricante de acrílicos Vallejo han aparecido nuevas referencias bastante interesantes por lo complicado de algún color en particular y que en mi opinión resuelve bastante bien. Se pueden usar directamente del bote o bien diluidas con alcohol o su nuevo diluyente.

Otra novedad interesante es el set de pintura cenital para vehículos en arena desierto. El set incluye la pintura necesaria para la transformación, imprimación gris, barniz satinado, medium veladuras y un par de pigmentos.

Nueva fórmula diluyente Vallejo para aerógrafo.

Hace poco recibí este nuevo diluyente para aerógrafo de Vallejo y se me ocurrió probarlo con las pinturas suyas para pincel, las de la serie Model Color. Los resultados me han sorprendido en tanto que las diluye perfectamente y funciona muy bien con el aerógrafo. Di unas luces y sombras con las referencias que se ven en la foto hasta dejar la figura lista para el pincel. Por último, con estas mismas referencias se retoca a pincel hasta acabarla. La ventaja es la rapidez y la comodidad.

Just I have receive this new airbrush thinner from Vallejo and I have tested it with his Model Color paints and an airbrush. For my surprise it has worked very well. After a lights and shadows with this, now, figure is ready for the paintbrush with the same color references. This is the advantage.

Sherman M4A3 105mm - "The last round"

Con esto doy por finalizado el Sherman. Para ello he usado óleos de las marcas Abteilung y Titan, y los nuevos productos de AK interactive, tanto los pigmentos como los lavados, filtros y demás pinturas para efectos. Lo resultados creo que han sido bastante satisfactorios.

With this I'm finished the Sherman. For that I used Abteilung and Titan oils, and new products of AK interactive, both pigments, washes, filters and other paintings for effects. For me results have been quite satisfactory. I hope you like it!

Operación Paz para Galilea - Primera guerra del Líbano 1982

Este es un proyecto que empecé hace ya algún tiempo y al que espero poder dedicarme en cuerpo y alma en breve. Al margen de que sea un periodo que me apasiona por el material que se usó y el escenario en muchas ocasiones urbano en el que se desarrollo la acción, a raíz de conseguir el libro de Samer Kassis y que comercializa Mig Productions titulado "30 Years of military vehicles in Lebanon" (y de muchas otras referencias bibliográficas), fue el hecho de encontrar un par de fotos lo que me sirvió realmente de inspiración. Ya las pondré por aquí!

This is a project I started some time ago and I hope to devote myself to make it as soon as possible. Regardless of it was a period that excites me for the material that was used and the urban stage that development many actions, the book of Samer Kassis that sells Mig Productions titled 30 Years of military vehicles in Lebanon (and many other references) have inspired me.

Sherman M4A3 105mm - Pintura II

Para el empolvado he trabajado primero con colores Tamiya acrílicos mezclados con agua y alcohol, y después con diversos óleos de tonos tierras y verdes. Lo siguiente será dar algo de textura y embarrado a los bajos con productos AK.

For the dust I first worked with Tamiya acrylic colours mixed with water and alcohol, and later with various oil paints earth and greens. Next will give some texture and mud effects with AK products.

Y aquí la foto en la que me inspiré a la hora de crear el terreno en el que situar la acción. Esta obtenida de la revista Hors series Military magazine nº 78 de la editorial francesa Histoire&Collections, una de mis preferidas.

Después de la capa base con pintura acrílica Tamiya he trabajado los desgastes con algunos óleos Abteilung y a continuación los desconchones en dos fases (una primera con colores claros y otra con oscuros) con acrílicos de Vallejo.

After the layer base with Tamiya acrylic paints I have worked the weathering with some Abteilung oil paints and then I make some chips in two phases (first with light colors and after with dark) with Vallejo acrylic paints.

CENTURION AVR MK2

A partir de las fotos de este modelo en un museo, Alessandro y Vincenzo han reproducido con todo detalle el estado de abandono de su pintura, desconchones, arañazos, óxido,... todo sobre un color claro típico.

From the photos of this model in a museum, Alessandro and Vincenzo have been reproduced in detail the neglect of his painting, chips, scratches, rust, ... all on a typical light color.

RESTORATION (GMC + DUKW)

He tenido el placer de ver esta magnifica obra al natural y os puedo garantizar que es digna de mención. En este gran diorama, de nuevo Alessandro y Vincenzo se han superado eligiendo un par de vehículos típicamente militares y canibalizándolos al máximo para su uso civil. En los alrededores un desvencijado taller hecho de madera y chapa de diversa procedencia hacen que en su pintura se puedan emplear las últimas técnicas con unos resultados realmente increíbles. Tampoco os perdáis el trabajo sobre el terreno.

I had the pleasure of seeing this magnificent work at live and I can guarantee that it is worth mentioning. In this large diorama, again Alessandro and Vincenzo have been overcome by choosing a pair of typically military vehicles and cannibalized best to civilian use. Around a old garage made of wood and steel sheet from different places make that in his paint can use the latest techniques with some truly amazing results. Great job with the grounddwork.

TWISTED FATE (CATERPILLAR D7 + Pz.Kpfw. IV)

Por último Rick Lawler, un gran modelista norteamericano, nos muestra en una pequeña viñeta un gran trabajo de pintura y sobre todo de soldadura, con los restos de un Panzer IV que están siendo arrastrados por un pequeño Caterpillar. Gran trabajo también sobre el terreno.

Finally Rick Lawler shows in a small vignette a great job of painting and welding especially with the remains of a Panzer IV being dragged by a small Caterpillar. Great job also on the grounddwork.

Al final se incluye un Galería de trabajos con algunos bastante interesantes. En definitiva, un libro que puede que os haga disfrutar como a mi, y si no juzgad vosotros mismos con estas fotos.

At the end, it includes a gallery with some interesting works. In short, a book that can make you enjoy it like me, judge for yourselves with these photos.

Sherman M4A3 105mm - El escenario III

Como veis la base ya esta casi terminada, el vehículo está en fase de pintura y tengo un par de figuras montadas. He estado probando un producto de Vallejo (ref. 26.230) para imitar agua con muy buen resultado.

As you can see base is almost finished, the vehicle is in painting process and I have a couple of assemble figures. I've been testing a product of Vallejo (ref. 26 230) to create water with very good results.
