Los líquidos desconchadores son muy fáciles de manejar y con unos sencillos consejos nos pueden dar unos resultados espectaculares.Vamos a tratar de conseguir el aspecto oxidado de una torre abandonada. El primer paso será pintarla en tonos oxidados. He partido del set de óxidos de AK.
The chipping fluids are very easy to use and with a simple advices they can help us to obtain an spectacular results. We are going to try to obtain the rusty aspect of an old turret. The first step will be to paint it in rusty tones. I have used the AK Rust effect colors.
Paso 1:
Con el aerógrafo y un tono óxido algo oscuro se cubre por completo la torre.
With the airbrush and dark rust we paint the turret completely.
Paso 2:
Con una esponja y un par de tonos óxido más claros se añade contraste.
With the sponge and a pair of light rust tones we add contrast.
Paso 3:
Con un palillo y pincel se añaden salpicaduras de tono óxido claro.
With a toothpick and a round brush we add dots and splashes of light rust.
Paso 4:
Ahora con el aerógrafo y el líquido desconchador se cubre por completo la torre.
Now with the airbrush and the Chipping fluid we cover the turret completely.
Paso 5:
Una vez seco al tacto el desconchador damos la capa base del color elejido.
When the Chipping fluid is dry we paint the color base selected.
Paso 6:
Para conseguir diferentes resultados debemos usar herramientas variadas como pinceles de cerdas duras y blandas, palillos, agujas,...
For different results we must be use different tools such as hard and soft brushes, toothpicks, needles,...

En este caso se ha usado otra combinación de colores. Después se ha sellado el resultado con barniz satinado para el proceso de envejecido posterior.
