News from Macone Models

Macone Models acaba de poner a la venta unas fantásticas ruedas diseñadas y desarrolladas por Juan Antonio Parrilla, y que me han servido para terminar el Jackal a escala 1:48 de Airfix.

La pintura ha resultado ser un gustazo dada la calidad de la resina y de los masters. Ahí van unas fotos para que os ayuden a decidiros.

Jackal - Operacion Herrick (Afganistan) III

Comienza la fase final con un poco de barro acumulado en los bajos. Para las salpicaduras algunas referencias de AK y un palillo.

Begins the final phase with a bit of mud accumulated in the lower hull. For the splashes some AK's references and a toothpick.

Para ganar profundidad es interesante utilizar tonos más oscuros añadiendo al final algunas manchas de fluidos.

To get more depth I use darker tones, at last I add some fluid stains.

AK Interactive acaba de publicar y poner a la venta un nuevo volumen dedicado al envejecimiento de vehículos civiles, digamos extremo más bien, y que cuenta de una manera agradable y bien ilustrada como llevar a cabo sobre estos vehículos innumerable cantidad de técnicas, técnicas que por otra parte se pueden poner perfectamente en práctica sobre todo tipo de vehículos, y con esto me refiero a “nuestros” vehículos militares.

AK Interactive just released and put on sale a new volume about how to weather civilian vehicles in a extreme way. It explains in a pleasant and well-illustrated manner how carried out on these vehicles countless techniques, that also can be perfectly put into practice on all types of vehicles, and by that I mean "our" military vehicles.

Retomando el pulso a este escurridizo chiquitín, tras la pintura base y detalles he continuado el trabajo con unos lavados de AK. Para esta base desértica está especialmente indicada la ref. AK121 (OIF & OEF):

Continuing with the work, after of the paint of base and details I have continued with an AK washes. For this desert base is specially indicated the ref. AK121 (OIF and OEF):

Desgastes con óleos marrón, ocre, amarillo y blanco:

Oils fadding with brown, ochre, yellow and white:

Para los desconchones he utilizado la ref. AK711. El color es muy acertado y no necesita diluirse apenas ya que viene preparada para el aerógrafo:

For the chips I have used AK711 because the color and dissolution are perfects for this work:
